Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the official Special Recruitment Drive Advertisement No. 04/2026 for recruitment to multiple Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’ gazetted posts in various ministries and departments of Government of India.

A total of 45 vacancies have been announced for posts including Senior Administrative Officer Grade-II (DRDO), Assistant Mining Engineer, Assistant Research Officer, Accounts Officer, Translators, Assistant Professors and others.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the UPSC Online Recruitment Application portal before the last date. Candidates are advised to carefully check eligibility criteria, educational qualification, age limit, experience requirement, pay scale and selection procedure before applying online.

📚 UPSC Recruitment Exam Pattern 2026

If UPSC decides to conduct Recruitment Test (RT), the exam pattern generally includes objective type questions related to the concerned subject, general aptitude and experience area.

Minimum suitability marks in interview are 50 for UR, 45 for OBC and 40 for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
