BSE Odisha OTET 2026: Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha has released the OTET 2026 Notification for candidates who wish to become teachers for Classes I to VIII in Odisha. OTET is a mandatory eligibility test for teaching jobs in government and private schools in the state.

As per official update, the online application process started on 26 March 2026 and will continue till 09 April 2026. The exam is expected to be conducted on 29 May 2026.

As per official notification, eligibility is divided into two categories:

📌 Category A (Class I–V)

• 12th with 50% + D.El.Ed (2 Years)
• OR 12th with 45% + D.El.Ed (as per NCTE)
• OR 12th with 50% + B.El.Ed (4 Years)
• OR Graduation + D.El.Ed / B.Ed

📌 Category B (Class VI–VIII)

• Graduation + D.El.Ed
• OR Graduation/Post Graduation + B.Ed
• OR 12th + B.El.Ed / BA B.Ed / B.Sc B.Ed

🎓 Final year candidates of teacher training courses are also eligible to apply.
