JKSSB SI (Telecommunication) Recruitment 2026: The Jammu & Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released the official notification for Sub-Inspector (Telecommunication) Recruitment 2026 in the Home Department, UT Cadre.
Initially, 83 posts were advertised vide Advertisement Notification No. 11 of 2025 dated 26.11.2025, which were later increased to 104 vacancies through an official addendum dated 31.12.2025.

A total of 104 vacancies have been notified for the post of Sub-Inspector (Telecommunication) under the Home Department, Jammu & Kashmir.
Candidates must possess a B.E./B.Tech degree in disciplines like Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Telecommunication, IT, Electrical & Electronics, AI/ML, Data Science or related fields from a recognized university.
The age limit is 18 to 28 years for OM and reserved categories. In-service police personnel are allowed relaxation up to 30 years as per rules.
The selection process includes a Written Examination, followed by PST, PET, Document Verification and Medical Examination.
Yes, ¼ mark will be deducted for each wrong answer in the objective-type written examination.
Selected candidates will be paid as per Pay Level-6C (₹35,700 – ₹1,13,100) along with DA, HRA and other allowances.
