Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has announced a total of 22 vacancies for Class-I (Junior Grade) Home Guards posts under the Home and Political Department.
Candidates must possess a Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university approved by the Government.
The last date to submit the online application form is 07 June 2026 while the last date for application fee payment is 09 June 2026.
Candidates need to qualify Physical Efficiency Test including 100 meter race, 800 meter race and long jump. Male candidates must complete 100 meter race in 16 seconds maximum while female candidates must complete it in 18 seconds maximum.
Selected candidates will receive salary in the pay scale of ₹22,000 to ₹97,000 with Grade Pay ₹11,800 under Pay Band-3 along with DA, HRA and other Assam Government allowances.
